PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rivet fastening structure for fastening synthetic resin materials or a synthetic resin material and a kind of metal plate, capable of increasing the fatigue resistance of the tightened material by weakening the initial stress generated in the fastened materials at the time of the rivet fastening and reducing the residual stress at the time of the fastening. SOLUTION: The fastened materials are fastened by using a rivet in which the shaft diameter of a rivet body is larger than the shaft diameter of a caulking head part, or a rivet consisting of a large diameter rivet body made of a cylindrical body and a small diameter axial rod inserted into the rivet body, or a rivet in which a caulking head part whose diameter is smaller than a large diameter rivet body consists of a plurality of projections or axial rods.
