PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fender having a large reaction and a large displacement amount in a displacement amount-reaction curve. SOLUTION: This fender 11 integrally formed of an elastic body such as rubber comprises a disk-like shock receiving part 13, a first shock supporting part 15 of hollow truncated cone shape connected to the shock receiving part 13 and expanding from the outer peripheral edge of the shock receiving part 13 to the outside, a second shock supporting part 16 of hollow truncated shape connected to the first shock supporting part 15 and expanding from the outer peripheral edge of the first shock supporting part 15 outward through a first step part 20, and a flange 18 connected to the lower end of the second shock supporting part 16 through a cylindrical portion. When the inclination angleθ<SB>1</SB>of the second shock supporting part 16 is set within the range of 15 to 17.5°with the inclination angleθ<SB>2</SB>of the first shock supporting part 15 set to 15°, usable reaction and displacement amount are increased.
