PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical drop cable, which has not a main body part curled even when being subjected to work for tearing the neck part into the main body part and a suspension wire part, in a reduced diameter and at a low cost. SOLUTION: With respect to an optical fiber cable having a suspension wire part 11 and a main body part 10 connected in a neck part 12, of which the thickness is smaller than sectional dimensions of the parts 11 and 10, and has an optical fiber 1 and a tension member 30 of the main body part arranged in parallel in one plane together with a steel wire 6 of the suspension wire part, only one tension member 30 is used in the main body part and the tension member is made of a material having≥2% of elastic limit, for example, fiber reinforced plastics.
