PRODUCTION METHOD FOR SODALITE TYPE WASTE SOLID, AND ITS BAKING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and economically superior method for producing sodalite type waste solid, directly from zeolite collecting radioactive iodine, without recovering from zeolite as halide, and to provide its baking device. SOLUTION: The production method for sodalite waste solid includes a process for collecting radioactive iodine gas with pellet-type or powder-type zeolite carrying silver and a process for obtaining sodalite type waste solid by putting the zeolite in a baking furnace and baking it under an atmospheric pressure at a temperature of 600 to 1,000°C for 1 to 8 hours.
