PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a return side trough, a cover and the like to be installed, so as to reduce a size of a conveyer as the whole, and to reduce a running cost and a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: In this air-floating type belt conveyer for making a carrier side belt 1a travel under the condition where the belt 1a is floated up by supplying air between a carrier side trough 2 and the carrier side belt 1a, a return side belt 1b is positioned in an upper side of the carrier side belt 1a, and is arranged to travel under the condition where the belt 1b is supported by a side edge portion 6 of the carrier side trough 2.
