<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain labor saving in ceiling construction by using a ceiling cornice of a specific shape. <P>SOLUTION: In the long-sized ceiling cornice 10 used being fixed to a wall surface around the ceiling, a groove 14 for fitting the end part of a ceiling material 3 is formed extending almost over the whole longitudinal length on the opposite side to a fixed face 11 abutting on the wall surface, and cutouts 16 for fitting the end parts of ceiling joists 2 are formed at prescribed spaces in a first front projecting part 12 positioned above the ceiling material fitting groove, so as to communicate with the ceiling material fitting groove. Further, a second front projecting part 13 positioned below the ceiling material fitting groove, and a lower extension part 15 extended continuously downward, constitute a decorative face. The fixed face of the ceiling cornice is fixed to the wall surface, and both end parts of the ceiling joist are fitted into the cutouts of the opposed ceiling cornices to extend the ceiling joist. Both end parts of the ceiling material are fitted into the ceiling material fitting grooves of the opposed ceiling cornices, and the ceiling material is fixed to the ceiling joists 2 to form the ceiling structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
