<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly practical toner with increased affinity with paper and improved fixing strength, in a toner essentially comprising a resin having a urethane bond or a urea bond in the main chain. <P>SOLUTION: The toner essentially comprising a resin having a urethane bond or a urea bond in the main chain is characterized by containing a compound having a functional group selected from the group consisting of a carboxyl group, hydroxyl group, diazo group, amino group and sulfonic acid group as a fixing property improver in the molecule.
