WASTE DEVELOPER COLLECTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste developer collecting apparatus capable of constantly keeping the quality of an image satisfactory while reducing the cost and size of the apparatus. SOLUTION: The waste developer collecting apparatus is used for an image forming apparatus which makes a latent image on an image carrier 1 to be a visible image with a developer, and collects a waste developer 3 discharged from a waste developer treatment apparatus 2. The waste developer collecting apparatus is provided with: a collecting container 4 which is provided rotatably at one end in the axial direction of the image carrier 1 and collects the waste developer 3 discharged from the waste developer treatment apparatus 2; and a partition transport member 6 which spirally partitions the inside of the collecting container 4 to constitute the storing part 5 of the waste developer 3 and moves and transports the waste developer 3 collected by the rotation of the collecting container 4 itself to the deeper side of the storing part 5.
