PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sintered parts having high wear resistance and high strength, and to provide a production method thereof. SOLUTION: A cam lobe 10 consists of sintered parts formed by using an iron based powdery mixture containing iron based powder and graphite powder as the raw material, and performing compression molding, sintering and carburization. The cam lobe 10 is provided with an outside material 11 to form a surface layer and an inside material 12 located on the direction more inward than the outside material 11. Then, the content of graphite in the iron based powdery mixture forming the inside material is made higher than the content of graphite in the iron based powdery mixture forming the outside material, and the density of the outside material is increased while securing the content of carbon in the inside material.
