PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion port ring in a pipe joint, which is easily mounted to an insertion port in a construction site without using a spacer. SOLUTION: This insertion port ring in the pipe joint is composed of a C- shaped insertion port ring body 1 having a notch portion 1A, and a strip-shaped coupling means 2 coupling the notch portion 1A. A teeth portion 2A is successively formed on one side surface of the coupling means 2 in a longitudinal direction, and a base portion 2B is formed at a rear end portion of the coupling means 2. On a first end of the insertion port ring body 1, a stopper 3 meshed with the teeth portion 2A only when drawing force acts on the coupling means 2 is provided. On a second end of the insertion port ring body 1, an insertion hole 1C of the coupling means 2 is formed. The base portion 2B is stored so as not to be slipped off from an insertion hole 1C and not to be fixed in the insertion hole 1C. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
