PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pilot type solenoid valve reducing the number of part items. SOLUTION: This pilot type solenoid valve comprises: a pipe having a primary side main passage and a secondary side main passage; a pilot passage communicating the primary side main passage and the secondary side main passage; an installing member having a solenoid valve opening/closing the pilot passage; and a diaphragm valve disposed at a border between the pipe and the installing member. The valve element of the diaphragm valve is seated and removed on/from a valve seat between the primary side main passage and the secondary side main passage, thereby intercepting/communicating the primary side main passage and the secondary side main passage. The pilot passage has a diaphragm valve penetrating passage and an installing member penetrating passage communicating to the primary side main passage, a pipe penetrating passage communicating to the secondary side main passage. A solenoid valve closing/opening so as to intercept/communicate the installing member penetrating passage is provided on the installing member. The diaphragm valve has an edge portion sealing a space between the primary side main passage and the installing member penetrating passage, and a space between the pipe penetrating passage and the installing member penetrating passage.
