A golf training aid comprising a planar member 1 upon which is printed a swing line 5 terminating in ball position 6, characterised by having a plurality of elements 3,4 standing at a given distance either side of the swing line and disposed at an angle thereto, said angle increasing from 0 at the ball position to up to 10{ over a distance of up to 100mm. The planar member may be provided with indicia 8 indicating that an operator should stand adjacent to one side of the member. Preferably the elements closer to the operator 4 are shorter than those distant 3 from the operator. The elements may reduce in height towards the ball position. Optionally the elements are made from plastics or other inverted T-shaped piece made from high friction material which assists in holding the planar member on the ground. |
