The present invention relates to a settling tank and a water treatment apparatus including the same, the settling tank including a rectification wall for effective floating sludge separation. The settling tank includes: a settling chamber; a raw water inlet for supplying the settling chamber with raw wastewater to be purified; a weir placed at an upper end of the settling chamber to cause a floating sludge layer to remain and causing an outflow of the water purified with sludge removed; and a drain path placed to be adjacent to the weir and collecting the purified water flowing out from the weir. Also included is the rectification wall that is positioned in the settling chamber, has open upper and lower portions, and has a height exceeding the height of the weir.
