PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further save space of a recording device by removing a delivery tray projecting from a recording device body.

SOLUTION: The recording device has vertically extending paper feeding part 13 and delivering part 15. A body 70 having a recording 17 and a control part 16 is disposed between the paper feeding part 13 and delivering part 15. The delivering part 15 covers the periphery of recording paper 40 and recording paper 40 is stored in a standing state of it. The bottom part of the delivering part 15 is provided with a moving plate 57 for conveying the recording paper 40 upward so as to project a part of the recording paper 40 from a delivery port 12.
