<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a redoing of recording even when a player mistakes a musical performance on the way. <P>SOLUTION: A storage region for specified time duration is set in a storage means 4, and input sounds IN1 to IN4 are recorded on the storage region by loop overwrite. Recording data for the storage region are recorded as a sound source material on a specified track of a song constituted of a multitrack. The song is recorded on the storage means 4 or a CD-R 5. Since the recording is performed by the loop overwrite in the storage region, the recording is completed when the musical performance is satisfactorily achieved for the player.
