PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control device capable of being installed even in a small-scale building at a low cost and having a narrow width. SOLUTION: In the vibration control device 10 disposed between a beam 5 and the beam 4 or between the beam 4 and a foundation 2, mounting frames 11 and 12 are projected to a section lower than the upper-side beam 5 and to a section upper than the lower-side beam 4, and a toggle mechanism 15 amplifying the displacement of vibrations in the horizontal direction in the building and transmitting the displacement to a damper 18 is interposed between the mounting frames 11 and 12. The mounting frame 21 is projected to the section lower than the upper-side beam 5, and the toggle mechanism 15 can also be interposed between the mounting frame 21 and the lower-side beam 4.
