PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide arch type tide gate suitable for a large-scale tide gate for measures against tidal wave and high tide applied to a port entrance part. SOLUTION: In this slide arch type tide gate installed at the port entrance part, formed in an arch shape curved so as to be projected to an open sea 11 side, and dividable into two arch door bodies 2 from a center part to right and left sides, a door body storage chamber 3 of curved groove shape capable of storing the arch door bodies 2 and a drive means 4 for the arch door bodies 2 are installed on both banks of the tide gate. A reaction body 5 capable of arresting the arch start end part of the tide gate is installed at the inlet part of the door body storage chamber 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
