PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means capable of performing quality inspection of a transparent package accurately and simply, by solving the problem that the quality inspection is difficult because irregular reflection or flickering of illumination is generated hitherto when illuminating and inspecting the transparent package comprising a transparent wrapping material and a transparent label, a transparent CD case or the like. SOLUTION: This quality inspection method of the transparent package is characterized by having a light emitting means comprising a plurality of annularly arranged LEDs having respectively a larger inner diameter than an inspection object, wherein the light emitting direction of each LED is in the plane direction formed by the annular LEDs and in the inside direction of the circle, illuminating the inspection object packaged by the transparent wrapping material existing in a lower internal part of the annular LEDs, placing the inspection object on the position at the distance of 5.0 mm or longer and 50.0 mm or shorter between the plane of the annular LEDs and the inspection object, and inspecting the quality of the transparent package from an internal upper part of the annular LEDs.
