PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combination meter 1 having good visibility by providing a smooth surface part 2e by removing a roughened surface 2a on the surface of a dial plate 2. SOLUTION: A dial part 2b, a figure part 2c, and a character part 2d are form on a light transmission part on the back side of the dial plate 2. The smooth surface part 2e is formed on the surface of the dial plate 2, such that the position of the smooth surface part 2e corresponds to the positions of the dial part 2b, figure part 2c, and character part 2d. A driver can watch the dial part 2b, figure part 2c, and character part 2d through the smooth surface part instead of through the roughened surface 2a used in conventional combination meter. Irradiated light from a transmission white color layer 3 of the dial part 2b, figure part 2c, and character part 2d passes through the smooth surface part 2e without causing refraction, and thereby outlines of the dial part 2b, figure part 2c, and character part 2d can be clearly recognized.
