PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epihalohydrin rubber composition having improved storing stability for a vulcanized product having excellent properties, and to provide a vulcanized product therefrom. SOLUTION: This rubber composition for vulcanization comprises (a) an epihalohydrin rubber, (b) at least one type of organozinc compound selected from the group consisting of zinc salts of a benzimidazole, a thiazole, a dithiocarbamic acid, a xanthogenic acid, a dithiophosphoric acid, a carboxylic acid, a thiol and a thiophenol, (c) at least one type of acid acceptor selected from the group consisting of a metal compound and a microporous inorganic crystal, and (d) at least one type of vulcanizing agent selected from the group consisting of a 2,3-dimercaptopyrazine, a 2,3-dimercaptoquinoxaline and a derivative thereof.
