METHOD OF PRODUCTION FOR URIDINE-5'-DIPHOSPHATE OLIGOSACCHARIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of production for uridine-5'-diphosphate oligosaccharide (UDP). SOLUTION: The method achieves production of the uridine-5'-diphosphate oligosaccharide in an organic chemical manner. The method of production for the uridine-5'-diphosphate oligosaccharide (UDP) produces an oligosaccharide-1-phosphate by substituting a hydrogen atom of a hydroxyl group on an anomeric position of a reduction end of an oligosaccharide with a phosphate group, and then carries out a condensation of the oligosaccharide-1- phosphate with an uridine-5'-monophosphoramidate. The method effectively produces the uridine-5'-diphosphate oligosaccharide (UDP) by passing through the oligosaccharide-1-phosphate. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
