PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop the operation of a hydraulic actuator when a spool of a selection control valve operates against an operation signal in operating the hydraulic actuator by a remote controller. SOLUTION: The control device for controlling a hydraulic actuator comprises selection control valves 20, 45, 50 and 60 of hydraulic actuators 5, 8, 9 and 10, the remote controller 70, a detector 23 for detecting the quantity of displacement of the spool 21 of the selection control valves, and an operation part 40 for outputting control signals to the selection control valves based on the operation signal and a detection signal of the quantity of spool displacement. The control device also has a solenoid valve 67 for unloading which stops the operation of the hydraulic actuators when the error of the quantity of displacement of the spool 21 related to the control signal outputted from the operation part 40 to the selection control valves is out of the allowable error range at least for a prescribed period of time.
