PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a changing device of a conveying direction for preventing contact of aluminum webs with a direction changing member in conveying the interconnected aluminum webs having largely different width. SOLUTION: The changing device of the conveying direction has the hollow direction changing member on which the webs conveyed in a predetermined direction are wound and which injects air toward the webs to float the webs and changes the direction of the webs. The air injecting width of the direction changing member in the width direction of a web passing surface as a web conveying route is 0.7 to 1.2 times width of the webs. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
