<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to find out the cause of a trouble easily by a troubleshooting of an electronic manual system. <P>SOLUTION: When an error occurs in a printer 2, error code, error occurrence data and time, and a set value of a printer control part 16 at that time or the like are stored in an error log 18. When the user starts the troubleshooting, a counting processing part 14 counts information stored in the error log 18. A display screen configuration processing part 12 acquires a counting result from a counting result storing part 13, and acquires information such as an item for configuring a menu screen from a menu screen table 151.
