METHOD FOR ISOLATING POLYMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for isolating an acrylic block copolymer resin which can remove a solvent from the solution in order to yield the resin in a solid state such as a pellet, while the resin is prevented from deteriorating and adhering to a vessel.

SOLUTION: The method comprises changing the acrylic block copolymer solution into the solid state by means of a twin-screw extruder having a twin- screw part preferably served with a heated liquid, under a condition that the twin-screw part has preferably a temperature of 150°C or more and 240°C or less and a vacuum degree of 10 Torr or more and 300 Torr or less; and an evaporation apparatus has an axial diameter (L) and a length (L) so that the ratio (L/D) is 5 or more and 20 or less.
