PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fabricating method of a photosensitive drum for an electrophotographic image forming apparatus in which a photosensitive drum can easily be fabricated and fabricating cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: In the fabricating method of the photosensitive drum for the electrophotographic image forming apparatus, which includes a rotary drum 110a and a roughly cylindrical photosensitive belt 110b that is in close contact with a circumferential surface of the rotary drum 110a, the photosensitive belt 110b is made to be in close contact with the circumferential surface of the rotary drum 110a using shrinkage and expansion according to a temperature change of the rotary drum 110a. The fabricating method comprises: a step of cooling the rotary drum 110a from an ambient temperature down to a predetermined temperature so as to shrunk; a step of putting the photosensitive belt 110b on the shrunk rotary drum 110a; and a step of restoring the shrunk rotary drum 110a to the ambient temperature so that the photosensitive belt 110b is in close contact with the circumferential surface of the rotary drum 110a.
