PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chat type education device for realizing interactive and instantaneous education. SOLUTION: A chat server 1 is provided with a chat data storing section 111 for storing chat data before transmitted upon transmission request, an answer sentence DB 110 so constituted as to be able to store the received chat data, a parameter setting section 103 for enabling a turned letter parameter when the received chat data contains a question setting command, and a chat data processing section 105 for storing the received chat data in the answer sentence DB 110 and replacing a character in the received chat data with a predetermined character and storing it in the chat data storing section 111. Thus, by the chat data containing the question setting command, the student's subsequent answer sentence can be made into a turned-letter sentence, by which interactive and instantaneous chat type education can be realized.
