PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic levitation type magnet pump that excels in maintainability and performance, by holding a rotor unit with an impeller normally levitated on the rotation center in a pump chamber by means of magnetic force by permanent magnets, dispensing with a radial bearing for supporting the rotor unit, and simplifying a support structure for the rotor unit. SOLUTION: The magnet pump magnetically couples a rotor 9 in the rear of the rotor unit 10 disposed in the pump chamber 3 to an external prime mover 14 via a magnet coupling. A rotary magnet 16 is mounted on the rotor unit 10, and in correspondence with the rotary magnet 16, a stationary magnet 17 is arranged around the pump chamber. Magnetic force generated between the stationary magnet 17 and the rotary magnet 16 levitates the rotor unit 10 normally on the rotation center in the pump chamber 3 and holds the state.
