<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closure for a cable connection part, which can reduce the fastening force of the sleeve and fasten a sleeve by a simpler fastening means. <P>SOLUTION: A rubber-made end surface plate 12 in use has annular projection streaks 22 formed on both end surfaces, the thickness t2 of the parts where the projection streaks 22 are formed being larger than the thickness (t) of a recessed part 20 of the sleeve 14 and the thickness t1 of the part where the projection streaks 22 are not formed being less than the thickness of the recessed part 20 of the sleeve 14. Consequently, when the rubber-made end surface plate is covered with the sleeve 14, the internal wall surface of the recessed part 20 compresses the rubber-made end surface plate 12 along the thickness to secure waterproofing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
