<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce picking up of an electric field noise by insulating connectors from high voltage bias of a developing roll and to decrease the influence of scattering toner. <P>SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus with a memory IC substrate integrated connector to carry out reading and writing of data by being brought into contact with and separated from a connector on an apparatus main body side installed in each developing cartridge end part of a rotary type developing device, the memory IC substrate integrated connector is installed at a drawn part formed on at least one of metal frames supporting the rotary type developing device unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
