<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimally change display resolution of a digital audio waveform according to operation of a rotary operating knob by a user in a digital audio editing device. <P>SOLUTION: This digital audio editing device detects a turning angle and the rotational direction of the rotary operating knob (a jog dial 13), and changes a moving distance and the moving direction of the digital audio waveform displayed on a display part 11 according to the detected rotational direction and a rotating speed, and in this case, reduces display magnification of the digital audio waveform when continuing for a predetermined time or more in a state of being a predetermined threshold value or more of the detected rotating speed, and increases the display magnification of the digital audio waveform when the detected rotating speed becomes less than the predetermined threshold value when decreasing the display magnification of the digital audio waveform. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
