PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage a video or audio data file on the basis of peculiar information. SOLUTION: The copy limit information, the recording medium identification information and the viewing limit information of the video or audio data file to be recorded on recording media 11, 12 and 48 is extracted, totally saved on a management list 14 and displayed as a list on a display device 89 to be presented to a user.
