摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that the smell intensity felt by a subject is not the same as the smell intensity provided by a smell sensor, and that the smell intensity is different relative to the same odor concentration according to individual variation or physical conditions of the subject, and that, in the case of a high odor concentration, the smell sensor is deteriorated and the measurement accuracy is remarkably lowered. SOLUTION: The subject inputs beforehand the smell intensities corresponding to several kinds of odor concentrations discharged from a fragrance device. The odor concentrations have two or more levels. The fragrance device automatically adjusts and controls the odor concentration relative to the smell intensity desired by the subject or a smell intensity program prepared beforehand according to the correlation between the smell intensity and the odor concentration stored in the device at that time. The smell sensor does not measure the air containing fragrant materials after generation as it is, but measures the air having low concentration diluted once by odorless air.
