PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and economically producing sulfonic acid anhydride from sulfonic acid. SOLUTION: The method for synthesizing the sulfonic acid anhydride from the sulfonic acid comprises reacting the sulfonic acid with anhydrides of mixed acids comprising the sulfonic acid and a carboxylic acid.
