PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set or replace an advertisement material attached to a moving handrail of an escalator. SOLUTION: An engagement groove 3 is formed at a lower part on one side in the longitudinal direction of a moving handrail body 2 of the escalator, and a projection 7 to be engaged with the engagement groove 3 is mounted to project in the longitudinal direction at a lower part on one side on the inner side of a transparent protection cover 6 for covering the moving handrail body 2. A printed sheet 4 of the advertisement material is mounted on the surface of the moving handrail body 2 in the longitudinal direction, and the printed sheet 4 is held between the moving handrail body 2 and the transparent protection cover 6.
