PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable curl pressing and to prevent jamming in paper feeding by preventing paper feeding displacement of transfer paper during the paper feeding even when a loading amount of the transfer paper is changed to change a tilting angle of a bottom plate. SOLUTION: A paper feeding device comprises the bottom plate 13 for supporting the transfer paper 9, a side fence 12 disposed along a side edge of the transfer paper 9, a transfer paper pressing member 14 that presses the transfer paper 9 loaded on the bottom plate 13 from the upside and is turnable about a turning fulcrum. The transfer paper pressing member 14 is provided with a pressing part 15 having a plurality of pressing surfaces 15a and 15b having a different angle for pressing the transfer paper 9, and the tilting angle of each of the pressing surfaces 15a and 15b of the pressing part 15 is set so as to produce a plurality of states where the pressing surfaces are parallel with the tilting bottom plate 13 in response to the tilting angle of the bottom plate 13.
