PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of a cache and a processor by quickening the determination of the presence/absence of a bank conflict. SOLUTION: A circuit for the bank conflict determination is provided with a cache memory structure equipped with a plurality of banks and a plurality of access ports communicatively coupled to such cache memory structure, and further equipped with circuitry for determining a bank conflict for pending access requests for the cache memory structure and circuitry for issuing at least one access request to the cache memory structure out of the order in which it was requested, responsive to determination of a bank conflict.
