<p>A doorbell mechanism includes a triggering board and a main body of a conventional doorbell. The triggering board has a magnet sensitive device and a decorative doorknocker. The doorknocker is provided with a magnet and the magnet sensitive device has a metal strip and a magnetic spring tube. The bell can be rung by lifting the doorknocker, thus separating the magnet from the metal strip and releasing the spring tube so that it completes a circuit within the main body of the doorbell. The doorknocker may be provided with an elongate pulling piece convenient for a short person or child to use.</p> |
