FIELD: powder metallurgy; methods of manufacture of sintered-carbide tools at gradient of surface layer properties. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes application of layer of metal on base at thickness of 1.5- 3.0 mcm; base is preliminarily sintered at temperature of 1100-1250 C, after which final sintering is performed.
