<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer equipped with a power transmission device capable of attaining the change between a single motor drive and a several-motor drive with a simple constitution by using the same drive transmission part. <P>SOLUTION: When a motor A is attached to a 1st motor attaching hole 451, the driving force of a motor pinion 502A is transmitted to a gear 404 for driving a process cartridge and a gear train for transmitting the driving force to all other driving parts through a gear 405. Besides, by attaching the motor A to a 2nd motor attaching hole 452, all the driving parts other than the process cartridge are driven by the motor A, and further, by attaching a motor B to a 3rd motor attaching hole 453, the process cartridge is driven by the motor B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
