<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing pigment ink for inkjet which exhibits little fluctuation of a pH value during stored at a high temperature and excellent stability an can form an image under good discharging stability when printing is performed by an inkjet printer, and a method for forming the image using the ink. <P>SOLUTION: The pigment ink for inkjet is manufactured by a method wherein after a basic substance is added to a composition of a pigment ink for inkjet having pigment dispersion liquid comprising at least a pigment and water as a composition content, the composition is heated to obtain a specified pH value or the method wherein after the basic substance is added to the pigment dispersion liquid, the composition is heated to obtain the specified pH value and then, it is mixed with water and/or water-soluble organic solvent. By using the ink for forming an inkjet image, there exists no possibility of metal corrosion of the inkjet printers and no clogging of a nozzle of the printer occurs and a clear image can be formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
