PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalytic coating excellent in transparency, hardness and decomposing performances, a manufacturing method of the same and a coated material exhibiting photocatalytic functions obtained by applying the coating. SOLUTION: The improved photocatalytic coating comprises an anatase type titanium oxide powder, a mixed alcohol, aβ-diketone, a titanate-based coupling agent and silica sol. It is featured in that the anatase type titanium oxide powder has a primary particle size of 0.01-0.03μm and an apparent specific gravity of 50-200 g/L and comprises the primary particles and a secondary particle comprising agglomerated or flocculated primary particles.
