The present invention relates to a pellet included in an assembly for sintering, and a method to manufacture a sintered ore using the same. The method of the present invention is able to increase a strength and a percentage of reduction of the sintered ore, comprising: a process of mixing a plurality of sintering mixture raw materials; a process of manufacturing the pellet including ultra-fine iron ore, fine iron ore having a larger than average particle size than the ultra-fine iron ore, and quicklime and limestone to reduce a melting point of the pellet while being mixed with the ultra-fine iron ore and the fine ore; a process of preparing the assembly for sintering by mixing the sintering mixture raw material and the pellet; and a process of manufacturing the sintered ore by sintering the assembly for sintering. That is, the method makes the pellet melt earlier than other iron ores constituting the assembly for sintering by reducing the melting point of the pellet in the assembly for sintering by adjusting a content of the limestone and the quicklime while the pellet is manufactured. Hereupon, since the pellet melts earlier than the iron ores in the assembly for sintering not included in the pellet when the assembly for sintering is sintered; thus the melted pellet is spread among the assembly for sintering uniformly and bonding force of the assembly increased, thereby the strength of the sintered ore being able to be increased. Moreover, since the pellet melts in advance in the assembly for sintering, excessive melting of the iron ores not included in the pellet is able to be suppressed. As such, a ratio of the iron ore remaining as a remaining raw ore in the sintered ore is able to be increased; and since reduction of the sintered ore is able to be increased, the costs required to insert a reducing agent to induce reduction of the sintered ore in a blast furnace is able to be reduced. |
