PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide frosted glass or a resin having an opaque engraving inside, whose pattern is changeable according to a requirement, and a method of manu facturing the frosted glass structure without generating a waste mixture to be disposed, which is different from a conventional manufacturing process, applicable not only to plate glass but also to glass with a curved surface or the resin, has no stains, needs no washing and improves an appearance. SOLUTION: There are engraved parts 3 formed by a laser-beam machining inside a plate glass 2, which make the plate glass 2 opaque and form frosted glass. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
