PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general-purpose test tube holder which is applicable in common to a plurality of kinds of test tubes with different outer diameters. SOLUTION: The test tube holder has a flange 21 in contact with an opening end surface of a cylindrical hollow portion 11f, a ring 22 connecting with an inner rim of the flange 21 and to be fitted into an internal surface of an opening, a plurality of leaf springs 23 having their bases coupled with a predetermined interval along a circumferential direction of the ring 22 and having their tips extending inwardly in the hollow portion 11f so that all of them are shifted to form a funnel shape, and a test tube mounting adapter 20 comprising an adapter body 20A including a contact 24 formed on an internal surface of each leading edge region of the leaf springs 23 and in contact with external surfaces of the test tubes 1 and 2 to be held, an elastic annular belt 20B for binding the leaf springs 23 to bring the contact 24 into contact with pressure applied with the external surfaces of the test tubes 1 and 2, and a protrusion 25 protruding on an external surface of the leaf spring to hold the annular belt 20B at a predetermined position.
