<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to move a roller with a simple configuration and reduce torque required to move the roller. <P>SOLUTION: The moving mechanism for the roller linearly moves when the contact portion 70b of a bearing 70 which supports a secondary transfer roller 11 is pressed to a rotating cam 48. In the moving mechanism, when the rotating cam 48 presses the contact portion 70b, the direction in which the cam 48 first contacts the contact portion 70b is more approximately parallel to the direction of the linear movement of a bearing 43 than the direction in which the cam 48 contacts and presses the other contact parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
