BASE MATERIAL FOR DYEING OF PLASTIC MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR DYEING PLASTIC MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base material for the dyeing of a plastic material, printable with an ink-jet printer using a sublimation ink, enabling easy and clear dyeing of a plastic material having curved or irregular surface and giving a transferred image having high density.

SOLUTION: The base material 4 for the dyeing of a plastic material has a sublimation ink receiving layer 2 and a blocking layer 3 on a substrate 1 in the order. The sublimation ink receiving layer 2 and the blocking layer 3 are releasable from the substrate 1 and the blocking layer 3 allows the penetration of a liquid sublimation ink and is resistant to the dyeing with the sublimation dye compared with the sublimation ink receiving layer 2.
