<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which solves the problem that defective cleaning, etc., occurs since a photosensitive layer is used up at an early stage as a result that a lubricant becomes absent on a side opposite to a toner replenishing side though an abundant lubricant exists in a toner on the toner replenishing side and which makes cleaning easier by making the transport direction of a coil for waste toner opposite to fur-laying direction of a fur brush in transport of the waste toner in a cleaning means so as to discharge the waste toner in the cleaning means without accumulation. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises a photoreceptor and the cleaning means for cleaning the toner remaining on the photoreceptor after transfer. The fur-laying direction of the brush roller arranged in the cleaning means is made opposite to the developer transport direction of the transport screw in the vicinity of a developing roller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
