1. A sheet conveying apparatus comprising:
a moving member moving from a first position to a second position by being pressed by a conveyed sheet; a sensor detecting the sheet based on the move of the moving member; a conveyance guide provided on a side facing the moving member and having a recess portion formed therein; a support member provided within the recess portion of the conveyance guide, supporting the sheet being conveyed within the recess portion, and being movable from a support position where the support member supports the sheet in a direction approaching the conveyance guide; and a bias member biasing the support member toward the support position and having a bias force smaller than a force of the moving member pressing the support member, wherein the moving member enters the recess portion in the first position, and wherein the moving member moves in a direction approaching the first position from the second position before a rear end of the sheet passes the moving member after moving from the first position to the second position by being pressed by the sheet.
