PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress consumption of a battery and to provide stable stopping. SOLUTION: The guided vehicle is moved along a guidepath wire 49, and rear wheels 5 used as driving wheels are driven by a travel motor 17 driven by the battery 18 used as a power source. The guided vehicle is provided with a detecting means for detecting a stoppage signal, a first braking means for regeneratively braking the travel motor 17, a brake motor 23 driven by the battery 18 and used as a second braking means for braking the rear wheels and front wheels, and a main CPU 14 used as a control means for changing a ratio of braking by the first braking means and braking by the second braking means in response to the stoppage signal detected by the detecting means. The CPU 14 carries out braking by mainly using the first braking means when a normal stoppage signal is detected by the detecting means. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
